Midlands has the ability to process our clients' health plan data in order to provide useful health care claims and utilization analysis. We use this data annually as part of our strategic plan to assist in selecting benefit alternatives to improve plan performance. Our health plan analysis is available to our clients with 100 employees or more.
We use Decision Master Warehouse (DMW), an Internet-based claims analysis tool, to measure the performance of clients' current plans, identify areas for managed care, and detect the need for wellness and disease management programs. A component of DMW is a Health Plan Information Report that comes loaded with state-specific benchmarks from which clients can measure their plan's performance. Features like Drill-Down and Alternative-Modeling examine critical components of clients' data in order for their Midlands Representative to formulate strategies for reducing costs.
